Meet: Thursday mornings at the Parkside Road/Middlewood Road entrance to Hillsborough Park (S6 4HE) where the nearest building is Hillsborough Nursery and Primary School.  We meet in time to start walking at 10.30am.

This walk started in 2004. They are a very sociable group with a wide range of ages. The park is as flat as anywhere in Sheffield can be, and the surfaces are good so this walk is wheels-friendly. Approximately two-thirds of the way round the park walkers pause in the Walled Garden where there is plentiful seating around the centre point, and lovely views of the gardens. After the walk everyone returns to The Park Hotel on Wadsley Lane where tea and coffee is available for walkers at a nominal charge. The pub staff are very welcoming and some walkers stop for lunch.

This is a change of venue. Until March 2025 the Hillsborough walk used to begin and end at Sheffield Arena.

Parking:  You may use the Park Hotel car park but need to key in your car registration number at the bar before you leave. There is also ample street parking nearby.
